![]() Charles Freeland is Associate Professor of English at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, where he teaches composition and creative writing. A 2008 Recipient of an Individual Excellence Grant from the Ohio Arts Council, he is the author of several chapbooks of poetry, including Furiant, Not Polka (Moria, 2008), The Case of the Danish King Halfdene (Mudlark, 2008), and Where We Saw Them Last (Lily Press, 2007). His novel, More Lethe Than Lobster, and a collection, Grubb, are available from the Skillet Press. His work has appeared in many literary journals, including Jubilat, The Iowa Review, Threepenny Review, The Mid-American Review, and Carolina Quarterly. Recent work appears in MiPOesias, Spinning Jenny, Mad Hatters Review, Knock, new south, Margie, Bombay Gin, Offcourse, 580 Split, The Hollins Critic, Harpur Palate, Juked, 42opus, Poetry International, The Cincinnati Review, Tusculum Review, Shadowtrain, and Great Works.
